Bring a Home Show Directly to
Your Neighborhood

A Home Show Pop-Up Event is a smaller, faster, and more accessible version of a convention center home show — held right in the parking lot of a shopping center, retail plaza, master-planned community, or home improvement anchor store. Local homeowners walk up and connect face-to-face with top home service professionals in their own neighborhood. We handle every tent, table, vendor, and marketing detail. You simply provide the space — at zero cost to you.

Two Event Formats

Choose Your Event Format

We design each event around the location, the season, and the homeowners in the surrounding community. Both formats bring serious, actively-planning homeowners directly to your property to meet qualified home service professionals face to face.

Event Format One

Home Improvement Pop-Up Expo

A professional outdoor vendor expo featuring 20–30 home service companies — roofing, solar, HVAC, kitchen and bath remodelers, windows and doors, concrete, pool builders, and more. Homeowners browse vendor tents, get free estimates, ask questions, and connect with the professionals who will handle their next home project. All the value of a convention center home show, right in their own neighborhood at no cost to attend.

✦ Best for: Shopping centers · Retail plazas · Large parking lots
Event Format Two

Outdoor Home & Garden Show

A community-style outdoor home and garden expo combining home improvement professionals with landscaping, outdoor living, and garden vendors — creating a full lifestyle event that attracts a broad homeowner audience. Ideal for master-planned communities, HOA neighborhoods, and spring or fall seasonal events where residents are actively planning both indoor improvements and outdoor living upgrades at the same time.

✦ Best for: Master-planned communities · HOA neighborhoods · Seasonal events
Who We Partner With

Three Ideal Venue Partners

We pitch decision-makers who benefit financially or operationally from having a Home & Garden Show at their location. Here are our three primary targets — ranked by speed to scale.

🥇   #1 Primary Target

Shopping Center Owners & Property Managers

Strip Centers · Kroger-Anchored Centers · H-E-B Centers · Retail Plazas · Local Leasing Agents

Shopping center owners and property managers controlling strip centers and retail plazas are your fastest path to scale. They have the large parking lots, they need the foot traffic, and they understand the value of an activated property immediately.

  • Increases foot traffic to the entire center on event day
  • Helps existing tenants make more money
  • Makes empty or slow centers look active and thriving
  • Zero cost and zero work on their part
  • Easy repeat events every season
"We bring 20–30 home service vendors and hundreds of local homeowners directly to your center — at no cost to you."
🥈   #2 Strong Target

Master-Planned Community Developers & HOA Managers

HOA Boards · Community Lifestyle Directors · Residential Developers · Large Neighborhood Associations

HOA managers and community lifestyle directors are always looking for resident programming that adds value without adding cost. A Home & Garden Show hosted in the community common area or entry parking is exactly the kind of amenity event they are designed to provide.

  • Adds direct value and convenience to residents
  • Positions the HOA as actively serving homeowners
  • Feels like a premium community amenity
  • No cost to the HOA or community budget
  • Vendors convert exceptionally well in captive neighborhoods
"We bring the home show directly to your residents' front door — they get trusted local vendors without leaving the neighborhood."
🥉   #3 Anchor Partner

Home Improvement Anchor Stores

The Home Depot · Lowe's · Local Hardware & Building Supply Stores · Garden Centers

Home improvement anchor stores have built-in audiences of homeowners already in project mode. A pop-up home show in their parking lot brings them additional foot traffic of homeowners already interested in home projects — customers who are likely to walk inside after visiting the event.

  • Brings customers already in home-improvement mindset
  • Directly boosts in-store sales on event day
  • Strong brand alignment with your vendor mix
  • Store managers can approve quickly without corporate
  • Creates a community event the store gets credited for
"We set up outside your store and bring homeowners who are already planning projects — they visit our vendors and then walk right through your doors."

"The home show pop-up in our center parking lot brought more foot traffic in one Saturday than we had seen on a weekend in months. Three of our tenants told me they had customers come in specifically because they saw the event from the road. We booked them again for the fall."

Questions & Answers

What Location Partners Ask Us

What kind of outdoor space is needed?
A flat paved or gravel surface works best — parking lots, community courts, open plazas, and retail lots are all ideal. Each vendor tent needs a 10×10 footprint plus aisle space. For 20 vendors we need roughly 5,000–7,000 sq ft. We assess your specific layout on a quick call and tell you exactly how many vendors we can fit comfortably without disrupting normal operations.
Will this disrupt tenant parking or operations?
We design specifically around your operational needs. We never block emergency access, fire lanes, main tenant entrances, or primary customer parking zones. Most of our best retail center events use outer lot rows, side lots, or designated event areas that have minimal impact on day-to-day tenant operations. We walk your property with you in advance to confirm the layout works for everyone.
Do we need city permits for an outdoor home show?
In most cases events held on private commercial property do not require additional permits beyond your existing operational approvals. In situations where a temporary use permit is required by the city or municipality, we research and handle all permit filings at our cost before the event date. We have experience navigating requirements across Fort Bend County and the Greater Houston area.
How do homeowners find out about the event?
We market through multiple channels — social media posts, vendor network promotion, local Facebook neighborhood groups, community boards, NextDoor, and email campaigns. Vendors who participate also market the event to their own customer lists and social audiences. For master-planned community events we work with HOA communication channels and community newsletters to reach residents directly. Most events generate 300+ homeowner attendees without any paid advertising from the host location.
Can our tenants participate as vendors?
Absolutely — and we encourage it for relevant tenant businesses. Home improvement stores, paint retailers, flooring showrooms, and hardware tenants are a natural fit and can set up a booth directly adjacent to their store entrance. We reserve tenant vendor spaces at no charge when they are a natural complement to the home show theme. This gives your tenants additional exposure to homeowners who may not have known they were there.
What are the best seasons for a home show?
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are the two peak seasons for home improvement events in Texas. Homeowners are most active in planning and booking projects during these months before summer heat and winter holiday season. We strongly recommend scheduling your first event during one of these windows for maximum attendance and vendor conversion. Recurring spring and fall events build year-over-year community awareness that compounds every season.
